Veronica Mars is a high-school student in the fictional Southern California beach town of Neptune. Her father Keith, a former sheriff, runs a private investigation agency; she works cases on the side. Each season carries a season-long mystery underneath standalone weekly cases. Three broadcast seasons (UPN 2004–06, CW 2006–07), a Kickstarter-funded feature film (2014), and a fourth season on Hulu (2019).
